Above is MakiBox supporter #1's kit waiting for him to come and assemble it at the lab next week.

Today was a day of everyone working to see the first boxes out the door of this production run.

Five complete packages were sent out, and we've got the parts ready for the next 295, waiting for our metal parts vendor delivery tomorrow.

And, the Speedpost picking up two parcels heading to Australia. The others went out via Fedex to the US.

The next few days will be building up the hot ends, which takes a day for curing the glue for the thermistor, and then we will be back in action making kits for the masses.

Awesome day!

Looks really exciting.
So how many did you give to the post office and how many did you put together into packages?

So in the whole time they did only 5 boxes? Or do they have more in stock waiting to be sent?
That was my question.

Seems pretty clear to me. Five shipped. Can't finish assembling/packing the other 295 until the final parts come in.

Good News - Sent out 5 boxes!

Bad News - 295 Boxes need metal part to arrive before shipping.

More Good News - Metal part arriving tomorrow!

Yay! Great news!
