Just in case you haven't seen

is the total shipped to date. Yes, we are continuing to hold to our schedule (actually, do more than we promised).

Thank you, The MakiBox Team

@Jon Buford:
THIS is the email sent to me on Feb 18, 2014, Please tell me if you consider this to have been a true and honest thing to tell me:
Hi Arthur,

First of all, our standard production lead time is 6 - 10 weeks (please see attachment), which means the scheduled delivery was mid Mar.
During CNY, we stopped production over 2 weeks, and since recently we are still working on the backlog orders, therefore we foresee further 2 - 4 weeks delay on top of the original schedule.

Best Regards,
The MakiBox Team
Thank you.

Best Regards,
The MakiBox Team

Included was a screen shot of the printer page, telling me a 6-10 week lead time.

From your website:
FROM you web page:
Based on the current production rate, we expect that most orders will be filled within the next few weeks, and that new orders will be sent out within 4-6 weeks. Our output is around 300 units a week currently, and we are actively searching for additional production workers. We expect that we will be able to increase that after the holidays (just in time to finish the backlog).

SO, each and every date you seem to post, contradicts all else you have posted.

May I ask IF this is a true statement, that orders that came in on or after Jan 29, 2014, have any possibility in all the universe, of being SHIPPED in the timeframe you claimed?

Why would a NEW order, placed after MY order be claimed to be shipping BEFORE MY order, anyway?

@Jeff - As we outlined in the last post. We are working to finish up all of the 2013 orders within April. The ones from 2014 should take 1-2 weeks following that. We are currently in the mid 2013 range or so, but it is not necessarily sequential since we need to batch orders to locations for better shipping rates.

@Adam Emberton - Yours is most likely queued for the next two weeks or sooner, as we are working on that range of dates currently.

@Frank - See the above and previous outlines of the schedule vs. the order dates.

@FK - Order IDs are not sequential in the new system. Your order is in around the same production queue as Adam E. above, ie. probably will be finished within March.

@Todd W. - Your order is one of the next batches, should be packing in the next couple of weeks.

@Siu Kay Ho - Support will get back to you. Please just wait for their response and do not continually resend, as that will get you bumped to the back of the response queue.

@Jack - Not getting ahead of ourselves, just keeping everyone else honest that we are sticking to the schedule. There are too many people trying to hang on to the past, and we are focused on the schedule that we outlined in the last post and are carrying that out.

@Arthur Haglund - Based on our current orders on hand and the production rate, if you placed an order right now, it would be produced in 6-10 weeks (looks like around 8 weeks, at the moment). There is nothing to change and we have demonstrated this already for the last month. What would you prefer us to change it to, 8 weeks?

Comment by Jon Buford | 2022-03-15

@Arthur Hagland - All current orders will be shipped prior to new orders. As detailed in the last post, and backed up with the current production rate, we are maintaining that schedule. We understand that we mis-estimated the production schedule in the past, that is why we are only using the current production figures to drive the schedule that we have outlined and are giving to new orders.

Again, if your order was from mid 2013, you can expect it to be sent out in the next 2-4 weeks. Second half of 2013, 2-6 weeks. 2014, 4-8 weeks, including new orders. The reason for the overlap, we have to batch some orders together geographically, but we are shipping them out based on their order date within a given market, and approximately globally.

Jon I understand that it is taking time to actually get the devices made and shipped. What I don't understand is all of the messages saying that it should be shipped in the next few weeks, then a month later I hear the same thing. All I am asking for, as I assume most people are asking is an actual date when it will ship. It seems that in all of the responses I am getting it is the same story without a real answer. At this point I have a hard time believing anything that is being said to me about this printer. I feel I will be lucky to receive the printer by July.
I have a small business that I depend on my customers references for additional business. I honestly cannot recommend Makibox to my friends.

Hopefully you can prove me wrong.

@Todd - Please see the consistent production records that we have shown over the last month and a half. I hope you can find comfort in cold hard facts. Thanks!

(even despite the unhappy people)
Keep up the great work :D cool to see more and more maxiboxes in the wild :D

Jon I see the consistent production numbers being posted. However, it is stating 1476 have been shipped. That doesn't make me feel any better knowing the my order number is 835. It just seems to me that the production numbers do not match up with the numbers you are claiming have shipped out. And the cold hard facts are that I have been told one thing after another, just to be back in the same situation of wondering if and when it will finally ship to me.

I understand that you guys are busy making the items and trying to get them shipped out as fast as possible. Great job with that by the way. But I would like to know exactly where in line I am at currently. I don't think I am the only one thinking this either, by the other comments being posted.

@Todd - Your order is in the current queue for orders we are producing this week. However, based on the information we currently stated, this already has been said. Your order is in mid 2013 and we are working on mid 2013 now. Was that not clear previously?

Comment by Tim Jaeger | 2022-03-17

If everytime they post progress or information, you guys blast them with non-shipment complaints, that just makes them want to post updates even less often.

Everyone wants to get a piece of the 3D printing world, but constantly throttling them in comments is not going to make it ship any faster...

It makes sense to me to group orders by region for shipping, so I wouldnt expect them to go sequentially through their list of orders. I am sure they are fulfilling orders based on order date, but if they can include 10 orders placed at the end of 2013 going to the US, to save shipping costs it would make sense to do so.
