MakiBox - And here we grow again!

Just in case you were wondering.

And, this is how we are increasing the production rate. Thanks everyone for their helpful suggestions, we can take it from here now.

In the last day, we have gotten more done than in the last two weeks, so we are actively working to get the schedule caught up and will start sending out notices again once the current queue is caught up in the next few days.

We sent out our first bulk shipment to Europe today, so we will have a good idea of how that will flow by next week.

Looking forward to seeing more reviews by people as they get their boxes, like these happy Austrians and a supporter from Seattle.

We have identified a few points that we need to update in the online build materials, but in general people are saying that it is significantly better than their experience with building other machines.

I hope the problems people have been experiencing with the MB get fixed aswell :) but other than that its looking great and im glad to hear that you are ramping up production.

@coujin - I think there are clear fixes to any of the items that have come up. The case fitting just requires a little hand file work, but it is much better for the assembly to be too tight than loose and not stable. The other items, I think can be addressed as addendums in the online documentation.

Comment by Jon Buford | 2021-11-15

@John - It is a test of a few printers to see how the customs clearance is working before sending more.

When are the boxes going to ship to the states? Hopefully within the next couple of weeks. I would like to get mine before Christmas. I am very hopeful with this ramp up in production now. Keep up the good work guys...
